Wasn't thrilled with her second album either, though I think she did an OK "Wuthering Heights." Always liked PRECIOUS TIME, though. Have a copy here somewhere....<br />Thanks for dropping in!<br />TADhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13853931230081777310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4269925294673930988.post-19934837591693117762017-04-14T13:20:02.640-07:002017-04-14T13:20:02.640-07:00Benatar's debut album was solid but radio stat...Benatar's debut album was solid but radio stations rammed "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" down our throats when it came out a few years later. It got WAY too overplayed. It's not a terrible song, but not being terrible does not = good. It's definitely one of her weaker songs. There were at least 3 covers on her debut (Smokie's "If You Think You Know How to Love Me, John Mellencamp's "I Need a Lover," and a rather bewildering cover of Alan Parsons Project's "Don't Let It Show") and any/all of those are far superior to "Hit Me With Your Best Shot."<br />Perplexiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09971805688658949769noreply@blogger.com
